The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation's Northwestern University Prosthetics and Orthotics Center (NUPOC) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Lecturer, Instructor or Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include lecturing, demonstrating clinical methods, supervising student management and fitting of patient models, and creating selected presentations for our Master's in Prosthetics-Orthotics (MPO) Program. Online teaching responsibilities within our Blended Learning curriculum are also required.
Qualified candidates will be an ABC Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist (CPO), or have an equivalent ISPO-recognized Category I PO credential, with at least 5 years of clinical, teaching and/or research experience in the field. A master's degree or higher is preferred. Strong candidates who have not yet earned a master's degree will be considered, and if selected, will be required to earn the appropriate credential within a reasonable period of time, consistent with their teaching duties.

The expected base pay range for this position is $100,000 - $155,000

The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
