SALARY RANGE: MD/DO $218,010 - $263,380 DOE

Job Summary: The Clinician Team Lead works closely with the Medical Director, Site Director, and Clinic Manager to ensure effective and efficient clinic operations of their respective office/clinic and to promote a work environment that supports the wellbeing of provider and support staff aligned with the mission, vision and goals of Santa Rosa Community Health. In collaboration with the Leadership Team, the Clinician Lead will contribute to the development of SRCH clinical standards and improvement of systems and clinic workflows. The Clinician Lead will partner with clinicians and support staff to develop a strategic plan for the clinic, implement clinical standards and honor the commitment to providing high quality patient care.
Specific Tasks/Duties Include:
Support medical director by:
contributing to maintenance and improvement in the quality of all services provided by the clinic
organizing and leading site meetings of clinicians and of teams
Improve and maintain access to care and information for patients, community groups, and clinic staff by
helping providers with soft landings
working with providers to ensure that there are sufficient providers onsite
participate in provider recruitment
engaging in problem solving when several providers want the same days/weeks of PTO
Communicate regularly with both leadership and direct reports ensuring engagement and collaboration
Facilitate the building of highly functioning care teams
Participate in clinically relevant meetings, committees and work groups including but not limited to
site based meetings such as Clinical Leadership team meetings, Clinical Operations team meetings, site Quality Improvement meetings
cross site meetings such as Lead Clinician Collaboration Group meetings, Immunization Committee, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, Medical Assistant Workgroup
Work closely with the Site Direction and Clinic Manager to improve clinic systems
Manage performance of direct reports by:
Ensure that each clinician is provided a high-quality annual review in collaboration with the Medical Director and Ops team
Meeting with direct reports no less than quarterly (1 hr. annual review, and three 30 min meetings)
Assess for secondary trauma or burnout
Use data to assess and manage:
Performance - including visit targets, cycle times, efficiency, timeliness of documentation and panel and in basket management according to SRCH and site standards
Burden and equity of work using the available tools (e.g., Panel data, Signal, EPIC and OCHIN reports)
Participate in ongoing training at the request of the medical director
Mentor new providers
Assure that each clinic session has a designated provider willing and available to the clinic staff to answer questions and/or sign papers in a timely manner and do soft landings when needed
