Cloud Developer/Integrator

SummaryCTC Group is seeking a Cloud Developer/Integrator to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems within cloud environments. This role focuses on cloud-native application development, microservices, containerization, and integration of software solutions to support scalable, highly available systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements for cloud-based applications.
• Design, develop, modify, and integrate software components and microservices within cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Migrate existing applications to cloud platforms while evaluating system dependencies, interfaces, and performance requirements.
• Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Implement container-based deployment strategies to support high-availability systems.
• Develop and maintain application integrations using messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ and Kafka.
• Debug software and integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective solutions.
• Develop and execute software testing procedures, perform quality control, and maintain technical documentation.
• Prepare after-action reports documenting technical findings, new requirements, and improvements to Tier 1 standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with systems engineers and development teams to coordinate software integration and deployment activities.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
• Recent experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Experience developing and integrating microservices and containerized applications.
• Experience migrating applications to cloud environments.
• Experience configuring and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience with ActiveMQ and/or Kafka messaging technologies.
• Experience implementing deployment strategies for high-availability systems.
• Experience with software integration, debugging, testing, and root cause analysis.

Level 2 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

Pay InformationThe final salary may be influenced by various factors, such as location, labor categories, experience, education, and/or certifications. CTC also provides a variety of benefits as well as opportunities for continuous education and development. The estimated salary range for this position is $145,000 - $175,000.
