Our client is looking for a hands-on Cloud Engineer to own Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace as running services across a multi-company organization. You will run both suites day to day, implement and operate their security and compliance baselines, manage AI controls for Copilot and Gemini, and deliver Azure and Google Cloud project work to the cloud architect's designs. You will also be the first technical escalation for the service desk and work directly with business leaders on the practical side of running a company on both Microsoft and Google.

• Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $135,000 - $160,000 per year

What You'll Do:

• Run Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace end to end, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Gmail routing and mail security, Vault, licensing, and both admin consoles
• Implement and operate the Microsoft 365 E5 and Google Workspace Enterprise Plus security and compliance baselines, including Conditional Access, Defender XDR, Purview, DLP, context-aware access, and Copilot and Gemini AI controls
• Operate Entra federation and application SSO across Google and Microsoft, automate joiner/mover/leaver workflows, and maintain calendar, mail flow, and external sharing between the two suites
• Deliver Azure and Google Cloud project work, including Entra-join device migrations, moves off on-premises Active Directory, file-share migrations to SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, and Google Cloud hosting on Cloud Run, Firebase, or App Engine
• Deploy and manage Intune for Windows, Mac, and mobile devices, serve as first escalation for the service desk, and automate with Microsoft Graph, GAM, PowerShell, or Python under source control

What Gets You the Job:

• 5+ years in cloud or systems engineering, including 3+ years administering Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace at enterprise scale
• A Google Workspace Enterprise Standard or Enterprise Plus security baseline you built and maintained yourself, plus production federation of Workspace with Entra ID or an equivalent identity provider
• Hands-on configuration of the Microsoft 365 E5 security and compliance suite (Entra ID P2, Defender XDR, Purview) and Intune MDM and MAM for Windows and macOS
• Hands-on Google Cloud engineering and Azure production experience, including on-premises-to-cloud migrations, hybrid-to-Entra-joined device migrations, file-share migrations to Microsoft 365, and backup and recovery with documented restore tests
• Preferred: Terraform or Bicep, Teams Phone migration, multi-tenant Workspace, and Google Workspace Administrator, Associate Cloud Engineer, AZ-104, MS-102, or MD-102 certifications
