Cloud Engineer Identity & Access Management
Location: 100% Remote
Work Hours: Must work within Eastern Time business hours


Position Overview
Client s Identity & Access Management organization is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join an established engineering team responsible for managing critical SaaS platforms, Client tooling, identity and access controls, and enterprise integrations.
This role will focus on cloud engineering, DevOps, automation, SaaS/third-party integrations, and optimization of existing microservices. The ideal candidate will have strong AWS and cloud engineering experience, hands-on programming skills, and the ability to improve operational processes and engineering practices within an established team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions supporting Identity & Access Management capabilities.
  • Build and maintain integrations between enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, and third-party products.
  • Develop automation to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Optimize and enhance existing Client microservices.
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot AWS-based solutions.
  • Support enterprise SaaS integrations and ensure reliable connectivity with internal systems.
  • Improve operational processes, monitoring, automation, and overall team efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot production issues involving cloud infrastructure, applications, integrations, and services.
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, IAM, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in engineering design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Manage multiple technical priorities while working within established timelines.
  • Contribute to a well-managed, automated, and operationally mature engineering environment.
  • Utilize modern AI-assisted programming tools such as Claude, Windsurf, or similar tools where appropriate.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of software/cloud engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
  • Strong DevOps and cloud engineering background.
  • Strong programming experience with Python, Scala, or a similar programming language.
  • Experience developing cloud automation and integrations.
  • Experience working with microservices and enterprise applications.
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues and improving application reliability.
  • Experience with SaaS or third-party application integrations.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, access controls, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating SaaS products into large enterprise environments.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or ServiceNow-related products.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services and enterprise-scale infrastructure.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps automation.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Windsurf, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working in Identity & Access Management or cybersecurity environments.
