NOW HIRING: Certified Medical Assistant – Primary Care

Location: Waxhaw, NC (Charlotte Area)
Pay: $17–$24/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Setting: Outpatient Primary Care Practice
Full-Time Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a busy primary care practice in Waxhaw, NC!

This is a great opportunity for a motivated Medical Assistant who enjoys working directly with patients and supporting a collaborative healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical histories

• Assist physicians and providers with examinations and minor procedures

• Perform EKGs, blood draws, injections, and specimen collection

• Complete CLIA-waived testing and patient screenings

• Manage patient calls, medication refills, and prior authorizations

• Coordinate referrals, laboratory results, and follow-up appointments

• Maintain accurate EHR documentation

• Prepare examination rooms and maintain medical supplies

• Provide occasional coverage at nearby office locations

Requirements

• Current Medical Assistant certification

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program (CAAHEP or ABHES)

• Current BLS certification

• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Assistant experience or completed medical-office externship

• Experience with EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and vital signs

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Experience working with electronic medical records
