CMM and Precision Inspection Technician

Own the quality moment—from first look to final pack

In our manufacturing operation producing small, precision‑machined parts, your craft is ensuring every feature meets intent. You’ll work a focused four‑day week (Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM) and serve as the last line of assurance before components move forward.

Your impact

With magnification or the naked eye, you assess surfaces and features. With gauges, calipers, micrometers, and a CMM, you confirm dimensions and function. You capture results, communicate technical findings, and verify that packaging, labeling, material handling, and storage are correct—every time.

Core responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured parts for visual, dimensional, and functional requirements
• Verify machine setup sample parts to confirm readiness
• Document inspection findings accurately on reports and records
• Communicate with others on technical matters
• Check packaging, labeling, material handling, and storage

Capabilities and experience

• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and testing methods
• Read and interpret technical drawings, including GD&T
• Follow test procedures and work instructions
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Report creation experience and the ability to analyze information
• Champion process improvement
• Effective written and verbal communication on technical topics
• Comfort with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to inspect small precision parts visually with and without magnification
