CMM Inspector

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking 2 CMM Inspectors for an aerospace manufacturer of structural aircraft components, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in dimensional inspection looking to further their career in aerospace quality assurance.

•      Operate a CMM to dimensionally inspect machined, sheet metal, and assembled components

•      Interpret aerospace drawings, tolerances, and specifications using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges

•      Accept or reject product, document results, and process rejections in the MRP system

•      Perform Rockwell and Eddy Current testing and review outside processing certifications

•      Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102

Essential Qualifications

•      2+ years of recent hands-on aerospace inspection experience, including recent CMM inspection

•      Working knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T

•      High school diploma or equivalent; US Persons only, no sponsorship
