The Inspector (CMM) at Triumph Geared Solutions - Macomb is responsible for performing in process and final inspections on machined parts, assemblies, and or sub-assemblies in the Quality Department. The Inspector (CMM) must be able to perform First Article Inspections according to Triumph Geared Solutions quality department work instruction.
Duties/Responsibilities
Perform in process and final inspection on machined parts, and/or sub-assemblies.
Complete inspections to engineering requirements.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer blueprints.
Use micrometers and calipers to perform First Article Inspections.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 5 years' experience performing inspections in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing.
Minimum Experience 2 Years CMM Inspection
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
Proficient in Microsoft products and excel.
Outstanding punctuality and attendance.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Physical Requirements
Good hand-eye coordination.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to use hand tools.
