RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility
- Safely transfer, transport, and reposition residents using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Obtain and record vital signs and weights as directed
- Maintain resident dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and rights at all times
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and restorative nursing activities
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas
- Follow infection control practices, safety procedures, and facility policies
- Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to provide high-quality resident care
- Perform additional duties within the CNA scope of practice as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid NYS Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification required
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or with a geriatric population preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
