    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced and dependable caregiver to take on a dual role as a Caregiver Floater/Trainer. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about caregiving, enjoys mentoring others, and is flexible to step in and provide coverage when needed. You will play a key role in maintaining high-quality care while supporting both our clients and caregiving team.

    Key Responsibilities

    Training & Support

    • Train and mentor new caregivers in the field
    • Demonstrate proper caregiving techniques, including personal care, transfers, and safety protocols
    • Reinforce company policies, documentation standards, and best practices
    • Provide feedback to the office on caregiver performance and progress

    Floater / Shift Coverage

    • Fill in for open shifts due to call-offs, vacations, or new client start-ups
    • Provide consistent, high-quality care across multiple clients
    • Adapt quickly to different care plans, environments, and client needs

    Caregiver Recruitment Support

    • Assist in identifying and referring potential caregiver candidates
    • Leverage personal networks and community connections to help bring in qualified caregivers
    • Represent the company positively when interacting with potential candidates in the field
    • Support occasional recruiting efforts such as job fairs or community outreach

    Client Care

    • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
    • Provide companionship and emotional support
    • Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
    • Ensure client safety and report any changes in condition

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3-5 years of caregiving experience (CNA preferred but not required)
    • Strong knowledge of senior care, including dementia and mobility assistance
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the service area
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
