4-Medical is a 27-bed inpatient medical-surgical unit that cares for a diverse patient population, with a focus on gastrointestinal illnesses and diabetes management. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nursing assistant who is passionate about patient-centered care and eager to join a collaborative healthcare team that includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Nurse Externs. Responsibilities:
Provides direct patient care while working under the supervision of a Nursing Supervisor utilizing skills as outlined in the scope of practice by the Department of Human Services Division of Facility Services or NC Board of Nursing.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required
Current Nursing Assistant Level I certification (if applying as NAII must be current) required
Current American Heart Association BCLS (CPR) required
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
