We currently have an opening for a CNA Nurse Assistant position at Serene Nursing Services. In this role, you would be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop care plans, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse or registered nurse.

- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.

- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.

- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety.

- Follow aseptic techniques to prevent infection and maintain a clean and safe environment.

- Assist with airway management and respiratory support as needed.

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.

- Document patient information accurately and timely.

Requirements


Requirements:

- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a nursing assistant training program.

- Experience in hospice care, primary care, or other healthcare settings is preferred.

- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices.

- Familiarity with airway management techniques and respiratory support equipment.

- Ability to perform basic nursing skills, such as taking vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living.

- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health conditions is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
