Are you a compassionate caregiver who enjoys helping seniors live with dignity and independence? We're seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join a dedicated interdisciplinary team providing exceptional care to older adults in a welcoming Day Center environment.
In this rewarding role, you'll provide hands-on personal care, assist with daily activities, support participant engagement, and help create a safe, comfortable, and enriching experience for our seniors.
Assist participants with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
Measure and document vital signs.
Safely transfer participants and assist with transportation as needed.
Escort participants to medical appointments when assigned.
Support meal service and assist participants with feeding when appropriate.
Observe participants throughout the day and promptly report any changes in condition.
Assist with recreational and engagement activities.
Support the Home Care and Nutrition teams as needed.
Maintain participant care supplies and keep participant areas clean and organized.
Complete accurate documentation using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Follow all safety, confidentiality, and infection control policies.
Minimum 1 year of experience providing personal care to a frail or elderly population.
High School Diploma or GED.
Current California Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Current California Food Handler's Certificate.
Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.
Passion for serving seniors with compassion, patience, and respect.
$28/hour
Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
No overnight shifts
