Schedule Schedules are based on client needs and employee availability. Opportunities may include:
Day shifts
Evening/second shifts
Night shifts
Weekend shifts
On-call opportunities
Travel: Within approximately a 60-mile radius.
Responsibilities Caregivers provide compassionate assistance to clients in their homes and communities. Duties may include:
Providing personal care and hygiene assistance
Assisting with activities of daily living
Helping clients with transfers, mobility, and ambulation
Preparing meals
Completing light housekeeping and laundry
Offering companionship and respite care
Providing transportation and assisting with shopping and errands
Giving medication reminders
Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition or any unusual incidents
Responding appropriately in emergencies
Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
CNA certification or current CNA candidate
Previous personal care, home care, hospital, nursing home, or direct-care experience preferred
Compassionate and dependable approach to client care
Ability to read, write, and follow directions
Strong communication skills
Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
Successful completion of a required criminal history check
