Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA/TCNA) for a travel assignment in Elkins, WV. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care support in a clinical or long-term care setting while assisting nursing staff in delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
This role requires strong patient care skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding
Support patient mobility including transfers, repositioning, and ambulation assistance
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to licensed nursing staff
Maintain patient comfort, hygiene, and safety throughout the shift
Record and document patient care activities accurately
Assist with maintaining clean and organized patient care areas
Respond promptly to patient requests and care needs
Follow established care plans and facility protocols
Collaborate effectively with nurses and healthcare team members
Required Qualifications
Active CNA certification required
Completion of state-approved CNA training program required
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow clinical instructions and care plans accurately
Physical ability to assist with lifting, repositioning, and patient transfers
