Join Us as a CNC Laser Cutting Operations Specialist

Step into a late-afternoon start, where precision and pace define your evening. At 2:30pm, you’ll power up the bay, run your pre-flight checks, and set the tone for quality. You’ll calibrate the laser, review the routing package, perform dynamic nesting to maximize sheets, and generate the shop documents your teammates rely on. Through the night, you’ll keep material utilization high, hold tolerances tight, and capture labor and job data so every part and process tells a complete story. When overtime calls on Friday, you’ll be ready to help the team finish strong.

What you’ll do

• Set up and operate laser machines for production runs
• Perform daily calibration and system checks to ensure accuracy
• Create dynamic nests and prepare all required shop documentation
• Optimize material usage to maintain acceptable utilization levels
• Produce parts to spec in accordance with routing package instructions
• Record and report labor hours and job data

What you bring

• 2+ years of experience setting up and operating laser machines
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Equipment troubleshooting strengths and general troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on CNC tooling familiarity
• Confident tape measure reading
• Advanced inspection and gauge measurement skills
• Proven ability to complete machine setups for production runs
• Solid blueprint reading

Pay, schedule, and benefits

• $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience, plus a $2.00 shift premium
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:30pm–1:00am; overtime on Fridays is common
