About the Role: Roll Machining Technologies is looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team in Hanceville, AL! Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathe machines to produce machined parts
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications
Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and workholding devices
Perform in-process quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Make program offsets and adjustments to maintain tight tolerances
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues
Document production activity and maintain accurate work records
Requirements:
Proven experience operating CNC lathes or horizontal turning lathes preferred but we are willing to train the right motivated candidate
Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred
Experience with G&M code programming preferred
Proficiency with precision measurement tools including micrometers and calipers
Familiarity with Fanuc, Mazak, or similar CNC control systems a plus!
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team-oriented work ethic
