Meador Manufacturing is a family-owned precision CNC machine shop in Walton Hills, Ohio. We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC lathes and a strong understanding of machining processes. This role is critical to ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet our stringent quality standards. The CNC Lathe Operator will work in a fast-paced factory environment and will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC Lathes.
Shift (floating schedule)
Monday–Thursday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 6:30 AM – Noon (optional overtime)
NO WEEKENDS
What you’ll do
Set up and operate Haas CNC lathes to produce precision parts to spec
Load programs, install tooling, and set offsets
Monitor first-piece and in-process quality; make adjustments as needed
Read blueprints, work orders, and setup sheets
Perform basic troubleshooting and keep the machine running efficiently
Work with programmers, quality, and other operators to hit quality and delivery goals
Maintain a clean, safe work area and accurate production documentation
What you bring
Hands-on CNC lathe experience (Haas experience is a plus)
Ability to read drawings and use precision measuring tools
Attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
Reliability on a consistent shop-floor schedule
Team attitude and willingness to learn the Meador way
