CNC Machine Operator - Day Shift (Pay DOE)The Russellville Penmac Branch is hiring a CNC Machine Operator for a local manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating CNC equipment, maintaining quality standards, and working in a production-focused environment.Requirements for the CNC Machine Operator
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, CAD designs, and schematics
- Basic math skills, including algebra and geometry for measuring tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
- Manufacturing or CNC machining experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
CNC Machine Operator Responsibilities
- Load raw materials into CNC machines and prepare equipment for production
- Run test cycles and start or stop CNC machinery as required
- Monitor machine speeds, feed rates, and production processes to identify tool wear or operational issues
- Measure finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure compliance with blueprint specifications
- Perform quality inspections and verify product accuracy
- Clean work areas and complete routine machine maintenance tasks
- Refill coolant, lubricate machine components, and replace worn tool inserts when necessary
- Record production data, measurements, and machine issues in production logs
- Follow all company quality standards and safety procedures
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting of materials
- Ability to work safely around machinery and manufacturing equipment
