Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, confident working with tight tolerances, and skilled in operating 3- to 5-axis CNC machines. You will be responsible for setting up, programming, and producing components according to precise specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or routers).
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Select and install tools, fixtures, and materials.
- Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and CMM (Zeiss or equivalent).
- Maintain tolerances to within ±0.0005" (as required).
- Perform basic machine programming or editing (G/M code or CAM software).
- Collaborate with engineers and quality control to refine processes.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience (aerospace/medical a plus).
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tooling, and workholding.
- Experience with CNC controls (e.g., FANUC, Haas, Siemens).
- Familiarity with Zeiss CMM or similar metrology equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a precision-driven team.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to read and speak English fluently.
Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Required)
- Experience with laser engraving systems.
- Rapid prototyping or small-batch production background.
- CAD/CAM experience (e.g., Fusion 360, Mastercam).
