Position Overview Columbia Panel Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Operator / Programmer with hands-on experience operating a Homag CNC machine in the wood furniture industry. This position is responsible for producing high-quality furniture components while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and maintain Homag CNC machinery.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production specifications.
Set up machines and adjust settings for optimal performance.
Perform quality inspections on finished components.
Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments.
Conduct routine machine maintenance and basic programming as needed.
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
Required: Experience operating a Homag CNC machine in the wood furniture industry.
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
Experience with machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
