CNC Machine Operator II

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a CNC Setup Operator II for a precision manufacturing company, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in CNC setup, operation, and quality inspection looking to further their career in machining and manufacturing.

•      Independently set up CNC mills or lathes, including tooling, fixtures, and work coordinates

•      Run G-code programs and adjust feeds, speeds, and tool offsets to hold part tolerances

•      Perform in-process inspections with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators

•      Monitor production, troubleshoot minor tooling issues, and perform basic preventative maintenance

•      Assist in training junior machine operators in a collaborative, cross-trained team

Essential Qualifications

•      2-4 years of hands-on CNC machining or industrial manufacturing experience

•      Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T; strong shop math skills

•      Vocational/technical schooling or national credentials; able to pass drug and alcohol screening

Bonus Qualifications

•      CNC-related degree, certification, or coursework

•      Swiss machining experience
