Machine Tool Operator – CNC Machining

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Machine Tool Operator to operate CNC and manual machining equipment to produce quality components according to work orders and engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines, lathes, drill presses, and milling machines.

• Perform machine setups, tool changes, and minor maintenance.

• Read work orders, setup instructions, and engineering drawings.

• Measure, inspect, and deburr parts to meet quality standards.

• Maintain tooling, fixtures, and an organized, safe work area.

• Cross-train on various machining tasks and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Six months of machine shop experience preferred.

• Manufacturing or fluid power industry experience preferred.

• Ability to follow instructions and read technical drawings.

• Journeyman CNC Machine Tool Operator training or willingness to complete the program preferred.
