    Description

    We are growing and we're looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our 1st shift team (Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.3:30 p.m.) in our custom job shop. If you thrive on variety, enjoy tackling complex challenges, and take pride in precision work, this is the role for you.

    We specialize in one-of-a-kind and small-run projects for world-class customers, including top research labs and technology-driven industries. From prototype development to final assembly, our machinists are a key part of turning ambitious ideas into reality.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Set-up, program (Fusion 360), and operate CNC equipment, including Hurco 5-axis, Hurco 3 & 4-axis, Hurco TMM10, G&L, Haas, and more
    • Occasionally work with manual mills and lathes Bullard VTL experience is a plus
    • Machine high-precision parts to tight tolerances following blueprints, travelers, and GD&T requirements
    • Inspect parts for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed
    • Troubleshoot machining challenges and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
    • Collaborate with engineering, welding, and assembly teams, especially during prototype builds
    • Train and support less experienced machinists as needed
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

    Job Skills & Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or degree preferred
    • 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a job shop environment
    • Strong CAM programming experience (5+ years, Fusion 360 preferred)
    • Manual machining skills; Bullard VTL experience a plus
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T
    • Skilled with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
    • Strong problem-solving skills, independence, and a solid work ethic
    • Able to stand, bend, and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. throughout a shift
    • Clear verbal and written communication in English
