Understand the process to square material up correctly.
Proficient in the use of various hand tools as necessary to achieve finish requirements.
Ability to effectively use power driven equipment.
Understand tool deflection and how to combat it in different types of materials.
Understand part flatness and how to achieve flatness with different types of materials.
Proficient in proofreading G&M code to ensure no crashes or mistakes occur as well as performing a test run to ensure program outputs are accurate.
High mental and visual effort required.
Minimum Requirements:
1-3 years' experience as a machinist.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of formal apprenticeship program or completion of in-company, four-year training program.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
This position is performed in a manufacturing environment, with some local travel between facilities.
