We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $21.00-$45.00 hourly wage. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Looking for experience CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment to manufacture precision parts. Looking for SWISS, EDM and Milling for 4 and 5 axis machines.Position scope/summaryThe primary purpose of this job is to set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment to manufacture precision parts.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Set-up and operate most jobs on 3 to 4 Axis CNC machines with both fixturing and/or standard set-ups with minimal supervision in accordance to set-up sheet, blueprints and operation sheets per customer requirementsInspection of work with minimal assistance from senior machinist or supervisorTrain lesser grade individuals on all aspects of conventional machining and proper inspection methodsTrouble shoots and adjusts set-ups as necessary, document changes per procedureMake adjustments to maintain dimensional integrityInsure machine and inspection set-up are adequate for the productDocument set-ups on set-up sheetsVerify the revision level for the current operation (operation sheets, blueprints)Verify Pc. Count and all applicable documentation for completion of previous operations.Complete all applicable documentation for the current operationUp date Job travelers with changes to routings and runtimesParticipates on various teams to achieve performance metricsMaintains machine maintenances and logComplies with work rules including those pertaining to safety, health, quality system, and Viant Quality Management System

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of ageAbility to use typical inspection equipmentIn depth knowledge of most conventional equipment and machinesable to read all machine code and programsAbility to read most blueprints and operation sheetsGood understanding of shop mathAbility to use trigonometry and on blueprints and operation sheetsGood understanding of geometric tolerancesMaintain organization to ISO operation proceduresComplete all job specific required trainingPerform duties to achieve overall business unit metricsComply with all safety regulations, wears appropriate safety equipment as required in each area of the facility
