CNC Machinist
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team in Canton, Ohio. Were looking for candidates with a strong background in operating CNC machines, who are detail-oriented and can produce high-quality work. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a key role in maintaining their high standards by setting up and operating CNC machines, reading blueprints, and ensuring parts meet tight tolerances. Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00/hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Set up CNC machines for production runs
Machine parts to tight tolerances (±.001)
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Write, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs
Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs to verify quality
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of CNC operation experience
Ability to provide own tools
Proficient with G & M Codes
Experience measuring parts with calipers, micrometers, and CMMs
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with CNC programming and setup
Familiarity with heat treatment processes
Knowledge of manufacturing standards and safety protocols
Preferred Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Several years of hands-on CNC machining experience
Other Requirements:
Ability to work on-site in Canton, Ohio
Must be able to work efficiently with tight tolerances
