CNC Machinist / CNC Setup Operator

Position Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, Swiss machines, and other precision machining equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and adjustments
• Inspect completed parts using precision measuring equipment
• Troubleshoot machining challenges and make process improvements
• Maintain tight tolerances while producing quality components efficiently
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met
• Follow established safety, quality, and production standards

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
• Strong understanding of CNC setup and operation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement techniques
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, indicators, bore gauges, and other inspection equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments independently
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Experience That Is a Plus

Candidates with experience in the following areas are encouraged to apply:

• Swiss CNC machining
• Tool & Die manufacturing
• Gear manufacturing or precision grinding
• Multi-axis machining
• Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma, Citizen, Star, Tsugami, Mori Seiki, or similar controls
• First article inspection and quality documentation
