Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Penmac Staffing is hiring a CNC Machinist for a manufacturing facility in the Heber Springs area. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with machining experience who are looking for a stable, long-term job with room for growth. The ideal CNC Machinist will have experience operating CNC equipment, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality standards in a production environment.Requirements for the CNC Machinist
- Previous CNC machining experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Must be willing to submit to required pre-employment screenings
CNC Machinist Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to production requirements
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Read work orders, blueprints, and production schedules
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean
- Accurately document production data and quality checks
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
