Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
Main Responsibilities:
Setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathes, VTLs, milling machines, and manual machining equipment.
Machining large rotors, gas components, cases, aero components, and other precision parts.
Aligning parts within tight tolerances for machining, grinding, and runout corrections.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, OEM drawings, schematics, work instructions, and digital routers.
Applying GD&T principles to ensure machining accuracy and quality.
Calculating and adjusting machining parameters, including speeds, feeds, coolant flow, and depth of cut.
Monitoring machine operations, making adjustments, and troubleshooting issues to maintain quality standards.
Selecting and securing fixtures, cutting tools, and materials for machining operations.
Supporting both Rotor Shop and Machine Shop operations based on production needs.
Following all safety procedures and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of related machining experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience operating both CNC and manual machining equipment, including:
CNC Mills
CNC Lathes
NC Machines
Manual Mills
Manual Lathes
Manual Vertical Turning Lathes (VTLs)
Advanced machining experience with:
OD and ID turning
Grinding and burnishing
Feed rate calculations
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Working knowledge of GD&T and basic algebra/geometry.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team.
English proficiency required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience machining gas turbine components, including HSPT, GE10, Frame 3, Frame 5, Frame 6, and Frame 7 components.
Manufacturing, Industrial, or Oil & Gas industry experience.
CNC certifications are a plus.
