CNC Machinist | Day Shift

Full-Time, Permanent | Monday to Friday

Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Signing Bonus: $1,500

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience

Are you an experienced CNC Machinist who enjoys complex machining, precision work, and taking ownership of your setups and programs?

An established precision manufacturing operation is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist with strong programming, setup, and troubleshooting experience. This is a hands-on opportunity working with a variety of CNC and manual equipment, machining complex components to tight tolerances.

No rotating shifts or nights. This is a straight day shift position with a $1,500 signing bonus!

What You'll Be Doing

• Set up, program, and operate CNC mills, lathes, horizontal boring mills, and manual machining equipment.
• Work with equipment including Haas Mills, Nomura Horizontal Boring Mills, and Mori Seiki Lathes and Mills.
• Read and interpret complex machining blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Write and modify CNC programs using various machine controllers.
• Independently adjust machine offsets, tooling, and parameters to maintain accuracy.
• Inspect finished and in-process parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What We're Looking For

• 5–10 years of CNC machining experience, ideally in precision manufacturing or custom machining.
• Strong CNC setup, operation, and programming capabilities.
• Experience with controllers such as Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or Siemens.
• Ability to independently interpret complex blueprints and work to tight tolerances.
• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment and GD&T.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience machining hard metals such as Inconel or titanium is an asset.
• Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
