CNC Machinist

We are currently seeking an experienced machinist with strong G-code programming skills for a client in North Canton, Ohio. This is a great opportunity to work with a company dedicated to producing advanced, high-quality products and earning respect through innovation and craftsmanship.

As a CNC/Lathe/Mill Machinist, you will be setting up and operating CNC machines, programming G-code, and ensuring the production of top-tier parts. Hours:
1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM + Overtime as needed

Pay:
$25.00/hr (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines (mainly Doosan and Daewoo Puma models) to produce precision parts
Program G Code for machine operation
Set tooling and adjust for each jobs specifications
Make tolerance adjustments to ensure part quality
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments for quality and efficiency
Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them running smoothly
Inspect parts using manual micrometers and other measuring tools
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and improve processes

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma / GED
3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist
Proficiency in programming G Code
Experience using measuring tools such as manual micrometers for inspection
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with Doosan and Daewoo CNC machines
Familiarity with other CNC tooling and setup procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years experience in CNC machining

Other Requirements:

Must be able to work on-site at the North Canton location
