CNC Machinist

Our client in Painesville is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll set up and operate CNC machines, create and edit programs, and manufacture precision components to exact blueprint specifications. 1st& 2nd Shift Available $28-$40/hr

Responsibilities

• Set up new and repeat CNC jobs from blueprints, routers, and work instructions.
• Create, edit, and troubleshoot programs at the machine.
• Produce parts to blueprint specifications and achieve first article approval.
• Maintain machine efficiencies and production rates as outlined on job routers.
• Ensure processes are stable and ready for operator handoff.
• Monitor part quality throughout production and make necessary adjustments.
• Change tooling, update offsets, and troubleshoot machining issues as needed.
• Inspect and document critical dimensions using precision measuring equipment.
• Complete all production records, setup documentation, and daily reporting.
• Label and identify finished parts accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and engineering regarding production concerns or improvements.

Qualifications

Required:

• CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Fanuc M & G code programming.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience using precision inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Preferred:

• 3+ years of CNC setup experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
• Aerospace, medical, or precision machining experience.
