Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist role in Phoenix, AZ. Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision components according to engineering specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining.
Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments to maintain production quality and efficiency.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and indicators.
Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in proper operating condition.
Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with supervisors, programmers, and team members to meet production goals and delivery schedules.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or CNC certification is a plus.
Minimum of 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
Experience using precision measuring equipment and performing quality inspections.
Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience with multi-axis machining or programming is a plus.
