Key Responsibilities:
- Program and operate CNC machines, both directly and through software.
- Set up and adjust machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
- Troubleshoot and modify CNC and conventional equipment.
- Perform inspections using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers).
- Conduct preventive maintenance and oversee machine shop organization.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for machining efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to exchange technical information.
- Provide guidance and technical support to other machinists.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (technical training or apprenticeship preferred).
- 4+ years of experience as a machinist.
- Experience with CNC programming and HAAS equipment (required).
- Strong skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, mathematics, and time management.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
