We have an immediate need for a CNC Milling machinist to produce precision parts through setup and operation. Great opportunity for experienced machinist who is able to maintain quality and safety standards with an interest in working for a growing company.
Responsibilities include:
- Produces precision machined parts by, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control - Maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. - Program, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC machines using Mastercam or GibbsCAM, ensuring precise and efficient toolpaths for complex parts.
Qualifications:
-Must be able to work OT as required - Must Program CNC mills, including setting zero points, tool offsets, and proving out part programs - Must Set up machines with chucks, vices, tooling, and attachments for production runs - Must Design and build proper fixturing to support machining processes - Must Inspect first-run and in-process parts to ensure accuracy and adherence to specs - Must Monitor machining operations, troubleshoot issues, and adjust programs or tooling as needed
