CNC Machinist

You'll be programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines while interpreting blueprints and ensuring parts meet strict quality standards. Hours
1st Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday
Pay
$25.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Program, enter instructions, and set tool registers and offsets on CNC machines
Read blueprints and drawings to produce parts accurately
Work with G and M codes to operate machines and perform tool changes
Measure and inspect parts to verify specifications using precision measuring tools
Detect malfunctions, troubleshoot, and maintain proper machine operation
Ensure production meets ANSI standards and quality assurance procedures
Minimum Requirements
At least 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or Mill Operator
Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs
Proficient in reading blueprints/drawings and inspecting parts
Experience with G and M codes and tooling setup
Ability to program, enter instructions, and set offsets successfully
Basic math, geometry, and trigonometry skills for calculating requirements
Capable of proving part programs and verifying output
Nice to Have Skills
Experience working in high-volume machine shop environments
Familiarity with advanced CNC programming software
Preferred Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in manufacturing or machine shop settings
Other Requirements
Ability to work on-site in Salem, Ohio
Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
Adherence to safety standards and protocols
