What You'll Do as a CNC Machinist:- Perform complex setups and operate mills, lathes, and/or routers to machine flat and formed parts to inch and metric specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, shop orders, and specifications
- Determine machining sequences and evaluate new tooling and machining processes
- Identify deviations or issues that could interrupt productivity
- Perform first-article inspections when necessary
- Maintain required logs and production documentation
- Assist team members with machining problems and troubleshooting
What You Need to Bring to the CNC Machinist Role:- Associate degree or equivalent experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience
- 3+ years of manufacturing or related work experience
- Solid understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements, and MRP concepts
- Ability to handle fragile products, perform repetitive tasks, and follow safe work practices
- Strong visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
