CNC Machinist - Setup & Operator

Smart Trades is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist II in Ogden, UT! • Location: Ogden, UT

• Pay: $28.00–$33.00/hr DOE + 10% shift differential

• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1:00 PM–9:30 PM

• Position: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

• Overtime: Available

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and machining equipment

• Work with Haas, Okuma, and Cincinnati machines

• Read blueprints and produce precision parts to specifications

• Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools

• Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary adjustments

• Maintain quality, safety, and production standards

Qualifications: 

• 3+ years of machining experience

• Experience with CNC machine setups and operations

• Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills

• Knowledge of machining tolerances, tooling, and shop math

• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently

• High school diploma or GED
