Start your new career as a CNC Machining Technician with MAU in Westminster, SC. As a CNC Machining Technician, you will operate manual and CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision metal and composite components while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and accuracy. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

What We Offer:

  • Pay of $19.00-$20.00 per hour

  • 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM shift

  • Temp-to-Hire Benefits:

  • Performance evaluations every 30 days while on assignment

  • Opportunity for $0.50 pay increases based on productivity during the temporary assignment

  • Upon Successful Transition to Permanent Employment with the Client:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance beginning on the first day of permanent employment

  • Eligibility for a 4% production bonus (paid twice per year)

  • Eligibility for 401(k) participation with a 50% company match up to 6%

What Were Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience operating manual and CNC lathes (manual and CNC mill experience preferred)
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering symbols
  • Experience using precision measuring tools, including manual and digital micrometers
  • Ability to read comparators for radii, angular measurements, and size
  • Basic computer skills and experience using software applications
  • Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical situations
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to work overtime and any shift as needed

What Youll Do as a CNC Machining Technician:

  • Operate manual lathes, mills, drill presses, cut-off saws, and CNC turning and milling equipment
  • Set up and operate machinery to produce precision production parts and tooling from metal, composites, and other materials
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment to verify compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
  • Adjust machine offsets, speeds, feeds, and cutting paths to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Ensure machines are properly set up, operating correctly, and producing quality products
  • Enter accurate labor information into the data collection system
  • Maintain responsibility for the quality of all work performed
  • Follow ISO 9001 quality standards and procedures
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE usage, and participate in 6S and daily housekeeping activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
