We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. You will operate and maintain computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work and wants to contribute to high-quality manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, grinders)
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAM software specifications
Program and input cutting tool data, speeds, feeds, and depth of cuts
Load workpieces and monitor machine operations to ensure precision and quality
Measure completed parts using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Inspect parts for defects and ensure adherence to specifications
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues
Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols
Meet production quotas and deadlines
Document work orders and maintain accurate records
Required Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on CNC machine operation experience
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints
Strong knowledge of machine tool operations and metalworking
Experience with precision measurement tools and quality standards
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
CAM programming experience (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar)
Experience with multi-axis CNC machines
Familiarity with different materials (steel, aluminum, composites)
Previous apprenticeship or vocational training in machining
Knowledge of ISO standards and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Forklift or material handling certification
