CNC Mill Machinist

Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our dynamic team in Dayton, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various CNC machines, including 3-4 axis and 5+ axis VMCs, as well as CNC lathes and laser cutters. Responsibilities

• Set up and changeover CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
• Operate CNC mills and lathes using G-Code and M-Code.
• Utilize precision measurement tools and hand metrology to ensure high-quality output.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with CNC mills (3-4 axis and 5+ axis) and CNC lathes (2-4 axis and 5+ axis).
• Experience with CNC machine setup and changeover.
• Proficient in precision measurement and hand metrology techniques.
• Background in aerospace manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with machine brands such as Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, and Dmg Mori Seiki.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
