Responsibilities
Set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Interpret and utilize G Code or conversational programming to ensure accurate machining operations.
Verify machine settings and part dimensions by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces.
Monitor machining processes, detect malfunctions, and troubleshoot as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
Adjust and reprogram controls, sharpen or replace worn tools, and follow quality assurance procedures.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Document production activities, quality checks, and any irregularities to maintain clear communication across shifts.
Complete production and quality logs accurately and in a timely manner.
Adhere to all safety, quality, and production rate standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience operating CNC milling machines.
Basic knowledge of G Code or conversational programming.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
