Position Description The CNC Operator sets up and runs computer numerical control machinery to manufacture high-quality components according to engineered drawings and production specifications. This role involves staging materials, executing machining cycles, inspecting finished parts, monitoring tool wear, executing preventative maintenance and machine calibration, and maintaining safety protocols. Operators collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, perform routine maintenance, track production data, and support continuous improvement. This position is located at our facility in Conway, Arkansas. Responsibilities

Operate CNC machinery and equipment safely and efficiently., ensuring proper shutdown at shift end. Perform precise pre- and post-cut measurements to maintain continuous QA/QC standards. Adhere strictly to site safety standards, emergency procedures, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and SDS protocols. Complete risk assessments (Take 10) prior to initiating unfamiliar tasks. Identify and promptly report equipment malfunctions to the maintenance department with detailed diagnostics. Execute routine preventative maintenance and machine calibration. Manage material flow, accurate labeling, and remnant removal for Glulam and CLT components. Proficiently utilize hand and power tools to support manufacturing operations. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and maintain open communication with upstream and downstream operators to optimize production line flow. Uphold 5S lean manufacturing methodologies across all operational areas. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 1 years of professional experience operating CNC machinery and utilizing computer-assisted manufacturing (CAM) software and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills In-depth understanding of industrial production processes and manufacturing operations is considered an asset Self-motivated with proven ability to work independently, follow complex instructions, and prioritize tasks effectively Highly adaptable professional thriving in fast-paced, dynamic work environments Physical capability to stand for extended periods, navigate stairs and ladders unassisted, and lift up to 50 lbs safely

Salary & Benefits

The salary for this position is $22.00-$25.00 (USD). Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
