Job Title: CNC Operator
Location: Voorhees
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Setting up CNC machines to perform specific functions such as milling, drilling, grinding, or
cutting based on work instructions and blueprints.
• Loading and securing raw materials into the machines and unloading finished parts after
machining.
• Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to understand dimensional and finish specifications.
• Editing and running CNC software; translating instructions into computer commands to
produce the desired outcome.
• Inspecting parts throughout production using precision measuring tools to ensure they
meet required tolerances and quality standards.
• Performing finishing operations such as deburring, sanding, and grinding as needed to
meet specifications.
• Conducting routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues to keep machines
functioning optimally.
• Recording production data and completing required documentation according to company
procedures.
• Adhering to all quality and safety guidelines and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Experience operating CNC machines; familiarity with G-code or machine programming.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring and inspecting parts.
• Understanding of manufacturing tools and machinery, including routers, Waterjet, CO2
and Fiber Laser Equipment
• Commitment to safety standards and quality control processes·
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Experience operating/programming with Fiber Lasers, CO2 Lasers, CNC Waterjet
equipment preferred
Education/Experience requirements:
• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNC Operation experience, 2D drafting, and blueprint reading preferred.
