    Job Description

    Build Repeatable Precision

Imagine taking a critical part from print to proven process. You review the blueprint, map out fixturing, load and verify the CNC program, and select tooling to meet exacting tolerances. The first article clears inspection because you’ve dialed offsets, tuned speeds/feeds, and confirmed stability. Operators take it from there—supported by your documentation and guidance—while you monitor tool wear and resolve issues before they become downtime.

    Your Impact

    • Set up CNC mills and/or lathes (including multi-axis as applicable) with fixtures, programs, and tools configured for success.
    • Maintain part conformity through tool changes, offsets, and process refinements.
    • Translate engineering drawings and work instructions into practical, high-quality setups.
    • Execute first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
    • Diagnose machining and tooling issues, implementing corrective actions that improve throughput and quality.
    • Coach operators during runs and provide clear, repeatable setup documentation.
    • Track tool life, observe machine performance, and standardize processes for consistency.
    • Uphold safety, quality, and housekeeping standards across every job.

    What You’ll Need to Succeed

    • Proven CNC setup experience in a precision machining environment.
    • Experience setting up CNC milling and turning centers; multi-axis familiarity welcomed.
    • Ability to read and apply blueprints/engineering drawings to real-world setups.
    • Strong grasp of tight tolerances, tooling selection, offsets, feeds, and speeds.
    • Metrology skills with calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.
    • Resourceful problem-solving and solid mechanical aptitude.
    • Comfort working independently and within a team at pace.
    • Tool and Die experience preferred.

    Preferred Background

    • Tool and Die or tooling-intensive manufacturing experience.
    • Knowledge of GD&T and formal inspection procedures.
    • Fixture setup, process enhancement, and complex machining troubleshooting.
    • Dedication to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

    What We Offer

    • Competitive salary
    • 401(k) with company match
    • Vacation and sick time
    • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
    • Company-paid life insurance
    • On-site gym with trainer
    • Dog-friendly office
    • And many more

If you’re driven by accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement—and you enjoy seeing processes run right the first time—this is your next move.
