CNC Programmer / CNC Machinist
Location: Maryland
Pay: $30–$42 per hour, depending on experience and skills
Job Overview
We are seeking CNC professionals with at least 1 year of relevant experience in CNC programming, machining, setup, or operation. Candidates with experience in CNC milling, turning, or CAM software are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Create, edit, or run CNC programs for machining operations.
- Read blueprints and follow technical drawings and specifications.
- Assist with machine setup, tooling selection, and production.
- Check part dimensions and maintain quality standards.
- Troubleshoot basic machining and programming issues.
- Follow manufacturing and workplace safety procedures.
Requirements
- 1+ years of relevant CNC experience.
- Familiarity with CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers.
- Basic blueprint reading, shop math, and measuring skills.
- Knowledge of G-code or CAM software, such as Mastercam, is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
You do not need to know every CNC machine type or software program to apply. Candidates with relevant hands-on experience and transferable machining skills are welcome.
