Responsibilities:
Utilize CAD software such as Mastercam, CATIA, or SolidWorks to create 3D and 2D models of parts and components.
Develop CNC programs using CAM software to control machining equipment.
Collaborate with engineers and machinists to optimize toolpaths for maximum efficiency and precision.
Perform machine setup, including tool selection and fixture design.
Conduct thorough quality checks on machined parts to ensure they meet specifications.
Troubleshoot and debug CNC programs as needed.
Maintain documentation of CNC programs and tooling data.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CNC programming techniques.
Ensure a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in CNC programming.
Proficiency in CAD software such as Mastercam, CATIA, or SolidWorks.
Ability to create 3D and 2D models.
Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of G-code and CNC machine operation.
Familiarity with various CNC equipment and machining centers.
