  • Develop, write, test, and refine CNC programs for the manufacture of customized tail pulley and nose pulley systems used in various conveyor makes and models. We are a Haas shop.
  • Translate existing products, physical components, drawings, measurements, and manufacturing requirements into functional CNC programs and repeatable machining processes.
  • Utilize CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion, or comparable platforms to support program development, create and modify designs, and generate production drawings.
  • Develop standardized CNC programs and a library of manufacturing processes that can be reused, modified, and incorporated into future automated design and production workflows.
  • Apply practical CNC machining knowledge, including G-code programming, tooling selection, machine setups, and machining techniques, to develop accurate and efficient production methods.
  • Work with Haas CNC equipment, particularly CNC lathes, to develop, test, troubleshoot, and optimize machining programs. Experience with other CNC machinery and control systems will be considered.
  • Evaluate machining processes and designs for accuracy, functionality, tolerances, material requirements, and manufacturability.

  • Work directly with company ownership to understand existing products, manufacturing methods, and project objectives, translating those requirements into practical programming and design solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, consistency, and repeatability while helping establish processes that support future in-house production and automation.
